Pastor John Solie

Pastor John is a graduate of North Park University and North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, and was ordained in 1985.

He has served churches in western Wisconsin and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He has been the

senior pastor at Rye Congregational Church since 2000.

Pastor John’s goal is to help people to grow in two important journeys: The inward journey of faith in God and the outward journey of sharing the love of God with others.

He and his wife, Holly, and their two sons, Chris and Matt, make their home in Rye.
