Annual Events at RCC

Throughout the year we join together to actively participate in the ongoing administration of our congregation, to enjoy fellowship and to interact with our seacoast community. This is just a partial listing of some of our annual the events.

Annual Budget Meeting	3rd Sunday in January
Church Council and Finance Committee formulates and presents a final proposed budget for the coming year.
Abendmusik Concert Series	Saturday Evenings in July and August
Three or four concerts that feature local artists from diverse backgrounds.
New Member Classes
Membership Committee and the pastors hold orientation sessions for those wishing to join the church either for full membership or associate membership.
Morning of Sharing	Held twice a year in Spring and Fall
A time for anyone who needs help with yard work, small painting jobs and/or house repairs, house cleaning, etc. to get it done with the help from the men and women of the church.
Annual Church Picnic	2nd Sunday in September
A “pot luck” lunch for all families to enjoy with lots of fun, good food, including hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, desserts – PLUS games for both children and adults.
Annual Congregational Meeting	3rd Sunday in October
The Nominating Committee presents a list of member names recommended to fill open positions on all church boards and committees.
Annual Fall Fair	October or November
Craft table, silent auction, cookie walk, Christmas table, white elephant table, homemade candy, pies, etc. – PLUS lunch served at noon.
Adult Christmas Party	December
A catered evening dinner for adults to celebrate the Advent season in Christian fellowship with great food, entertainment, and carol singing.
