Welcome!
We appreciate you taking the time to visit our Web site. At Rye Congregational
Church we are about growing: Growing in faith, hope and love.
To grow in faith, people need the freedom to ask any question and know that
their concerns are important. We also need a trustworthy guide to help us find
the answers. God has provided guidance through the Bible. Join us as we explore
God’s word together through Bible studies and Sunday morning worship.
Our world is in desperate need of hope. There are two avenues that we are growing
in hope at Rye Congregational. We have found hope through God’s message
of good news and through serving others. Our church supports ten different ministries
that bring hope to people’s lives. Some of them are helping the poor and
those with needs in the seacoast area and other ministries have a global emphasis.
Come and grow in hope with us.
We are also seeking to grow in love. Jesus said that the greatest commandment
is to love God and the second greatest is to love your neighbor as yourself. Our
desire is to grow in these important relationships based upon love.
We know that we have not arrived as a congregation in accomplishing these goals,
but we are excited that we are growing in faith, hope, and love. Know also that
we would live to have you join us on this important journey.
